Wheel forgings are often used in cranes and are an important key part of the crane travel mechanism (wheel set). As the wheel set is being assembled, the wheel forgings need to have a keyway (for mounting the wheel shaft), so the mechanical processing of the wheel forgings in the forging factory requires wire cutting to process the keyway. The safe operating procedures are as follows.
The operator must be familiar with the wire cutting machine operation technology, have a full understanding of the machine structure and performance, and abide by the safety production system. Do not work with overweight or overtravel when processing within the range allowed by the machine tool. The hand crank should be pulled out in time to prevent injury when the storage drum is running.
Always check whether the power cord, over-travel switch and reversing switch are safe and reliable. It is not allowed to work with faults. Inject lubricating oil or grease regularly according to the lubrication part specified in the machine manual.
It is forbidden to press the switch or touch the electrical parts with wet hands, and regularly check the protective grounding of the machine tool. It is forbidden to use any part of the body to touch the metal wire (molybdenum wire) when the machine is working normally.
